Immortality Factory is an exclusive indie factory-building and resource-managed game, which is a mix of automation, survival and a dark fantasy narrative. You are a banished wizard apprentice who was expelled out of the magical society because of playing around with the forbidden power of immortality. You have but a few coins, a recipe-book, and your hopes, and you are off to the damned valley of Dred'na'Gahar – where even the breath in the air is threateningly alive with magical power. In this case, you need to construct a factory that will enable you to make the machines and the knowledge that can bring you immortality.

Story and Setting

The game begins with a haunting narrative intro. You stand in a valley surrounded by high peaks, the cursed wind corroding everything in sight. Using your last known spell, you open a pocket dimension, a blank canvas where your factory will take shape.

Every machine, every coin, and every line of research represents your desperate quest for immortality. But progress isn’t easy. The cursed aura fuels your creations, yet the more complex your designs, the more fragile and chaotic your factory becomes.

From simple beginnings, you must craft machines, expand your base, and continuously upgrade your systems to survive and thrive. The valley’s aura fuels your experiments, but it also tests your resilience in this dangerous sandbox simulation.

Core Gameplay

  • Resource Management: Players start with simple coins, which act as the foundation of the game’s research system. Insert a coin into the mystical machine and unlock new technologies step by step.
  • Research and Crafting: Select research paths to unlock new machines. Combine components to progress further into forbidden magical science. Each discovery unlocks new possibilities for expansion.
  • Factory-Building: Place and connect mystical machines across a freeform grid.
  • Wires transmit energy instantly, allowing for creative setups without the clutter of conveyor belts. Rearranging machines can be tedious at times, but experimentation is the heart of progress.
  • Trial and Error: Players often find themselves confused at first (many comments highlight struggles with menus and coin use), but part of the charm lies in experimenting until you uncover the correct sequence of actions.

Player Experience & Community Feedback

  • Challenging UI: Some players struggle with the “Please select a research from the menu” step, as the interface can be unintuitive. However, once learned, it opens up deeper gameplay.
  • Unique Factory Mechanics: Unlike traditional factory games (Factorio, Satisfactory), Immortality Factory emphasizes magical resources, pocket dimensions, and cursed energy instead of conveyor belts.
  • Suggestions from the community: Players have requested features like blueprinting, automation improvements, font settings, and better scaling for different screen resolutions.
  • Developer engagement: The creator has been actively responding to feedback, working on fixes for menu scaling, save management, and navigation issues.

Tips for New Players

  1. Coins: With the coins, you will always begin by placing them in the research machine and this opens your first batch of technologies.
  2. Zoom Adjustments: In case the UI is too big or small, zoom in or out (Cmd -/+ or Ctrl -/+) or switch fullscreen.
  3. Test a lot: There is nothing wrong with deconstructing your setup and putting it back together it is part of the design loop.
  4. Save Often: In case you are playing the browser version, you must save yourself in case you lose your progress by restarting accidentally.

Why Immortality Factory Should Be Played

In case you are fond of the factory-building games with a twist, Immortality Factory has to offer:

  • Dark fantasy storyline intertwined with a car driving automation game.
  • The ability to construct anywhere in your pocket dimension.
  • A developing technology tree that runs on damned knowledge.
  • Infinite replayability to streamline factories to new magical ends.

It is ideal for people to want something more experimental and fictional.

Take a trip in which prohibited knowledge powers your machines. Will all your factories give in to the burden of disorder, or will you finally find the key to immortality?
