About the Kour Game

Kour is a first-person shooter that is competitive and takes out all the unnecessary complexities and leaves the game with only what is important, namely, accurate shooting, quick reactions, and clever positioning. There are no lengthy instructions, no complex mechanisms--only you, your weapon and a map with enemies that are trying to outsmart you.

How to Play

Kour is concerned with arena based multiplayer fighting. Games are brief, full of action, and in a continuous motion. You are engaged in small maps, which favour close-range combat, ambushing, and immediate decision-making.

The way to do it is very easy: survive, shoot straight and kill the enemies before they kill you. The simple and bare HUD along with few distractions ensure that you are focused on the action and each firefight is personal and high stakes.

Due to the simple nature of the gameplay, skill is the primary point of difference. No cover-up of a complicated mechanism because the game is all about how well you move, shoot and respond.

Weapons and Combat Feel

The gunplay in Kour is immediate and reactive. Guns are responsive and every engagement is rewarded with a shot that is accurate and not spraying. Ammo control and placement are essential particularly when combat erupts within close areas.

The rapid respawn system keeps the matches fast paced, such that after you are taken down you are back on your feet in a short time, which is ideal for the player who likes the nonstop momentum of the FPS.
