DELTARUNE is a story-driven 2D RPG game that combines exploration, puzzle solving, turn-based battles, and real-time bullet dodging. The story follows Kris, Susie, and Ralsei as they travel through mysterious Dark Worlds filled with unusual characters, enemies, secrets, and challenging bosses. Battles give you more options than simply attacking: party members can fight, use abilities, defend, or find peaceful ways to spare enemies. When foes strike back, you directly control your SOUL to dodge incoming bullet patterns. With its pixel-art world, character-focused story, and distinctive mix of RPG strategy and bullet hell action, DELTARUNE makes both your choices and combat decisions part of the adventure.

Gameplay Basis
- Explore the Dark Worlds: Guide Kris and the party through different Dark Worlds, searching for paths forward while interacting with NPCs, discovering items, solving environmental puzzles, and encountering enemies. Exploration also hides optional secrets and challenges beyond the main route.
- Choose How to Handle Battles: Each turn lets party members perform different actions. You can attack directly, use ACT commands or magic, consume items, defend, or work toward sparing an opponent. Choosing the right combination becomes increasingly important against tougher enemies and bosses.
- Dodge Enemy Attacks: Enemy turns shift the battle into real-time action. Control the SOUL inside the battle box and weave between incoming projectiles. Moving close to attacks without taking damage can also generate TP, giving you more resources for spells and abilities.
