Sweepcremental
What Is Sweepcremental?
Sweepcremental is an incremental twist on the traditional Minesweeper puzzle. You clear tiles, avoid mines, and flag suspected bombs but now every action contributes to a larger progression system.
Instead of restarting from scratch with nothing, you:
- Earn money from completed boards
- Unlock upgrades
- Improve efficiency
- Recruit helpers (yes, rabbits)
- Expand your sweeping capabilities
The loop becomes: solve → earn → upgrade → repeat → dominate.
It’s Minesweeper, but with momentum.
How to Play Sweepcremental
Core Gameplay
If you’ve played Minesweeper before, you’ll feel right at home:
- Click tiles to reveal numbers
- Numbers indicate how many mines touch that tile
- Flag tiles you believe contain mines
- Clear the board without detonating too many bombs
Where Sweepcremental changes the formula is in what happens after each board.
You earn currency, even from failed attempts, which can be spent on upgrades that permanently enhance your abilities. Over time, boards that once felt tense become manageable. Then trivial. Then automated.
Upgrade System
The incremental layer is where things get interesting.
Upgrades can:
- Increase earnings
- Improve tile interaction
- Enhance helper efficiency
- Scale board mechanics
As your income grows, you unlock new branches in the upgrade tree. The game gradually shifts from careful logic puzzles to optimized efficiency engine.
It scratches that “numbers go up” itch in the best way.

Players Feedbacks
The game has received community feedback on several areas: Some players found blown mine tiles difficult to distinguish from empty cells (contrast improvements have been addressed). Default fullscreen behavior and zoom settings were adjusted based on feedback.
Sweepcremental successfully resurrects Minesweeper in a way that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. By layering incremental upgrades, helper mechanics, and progression systems onto the traditional grid-based puzzle, it transforms a familiar concept into something highly addictive.
