What Is Tag Game?

Tag Game is a fast, chaotic local multiplayer game inspired by the classic playground game of tag. Designed for 2 to 4 players on the same device, the game turns simple chasing into an energetic competition filled with jumps, shortcuts, clever movement, and constant pressure.

One player starts as IT, and the goal is exactly what you expect, tag someone else and don’t be the one who’s IT when time runs out. Easy to learn but surprisingly tactical, Tag Game shines brightest when played with friends on the couch.

Game Modes and Variations

Tag Game offers multiple modes, each putting a fresh spin on the core idea:

• Points Tag – Earn points over time when you’re NOT IT. The first player to reach the target score wins.
• Knockout Tag – Everyone starts with equal points. Being IT drains points, and hitting zero knocks you out. Last player standing wins.
• Reverse Tag – Only one player is NOT IT. Losing points is good here—the first to reach zero wins.
• Zombie Tag – A multi-round mode where every tagged player becomes IT. Earn points by tagging others or surviving a round without being tagged.
• Freeze Tag – A classic playground favorite. IT scores points by freezing players, while others score by staying unfrozen or unfreezing teammates.

Maps and Characters

The game features three core maps, each with unique layouts and movement opportunities:

• Squatch Mountain
• Crystal Grotto
• Crash Site

Recent updates added new themed maps like Kraken Ship and Dragon Castle, offering vertical gameplay and dramatic jumps.

You can also choose from a roster of fun characters, including Alien, Kraken, Squatch, Dragon, Pixie, Unicorn, and the new mythical Griffin.

How to Play Tag Game

• Play with 2–4 players locally (bots can be added if needed)
• One player is marked as IT (shown by an arrow)
• Run, jump, dodge, and tag others by touching them
• Use bounce pads, teleporters, and high ground to escape or chase
• Avoid being IT when the countdown timer reaches zero
