Introduction to Voxalike Game

Voxalike is a free online voice dubbing party game where you replace dialogue in video scenes with your own voice. Pick a Dub Pack, watch each scene, and record your lines before the timer runs out. Completed performances are scored and can be replayed, making funny timing and improvised dialogue a big part of the game. Voxalike supports solo play, online multiplayer, Co-op, and PvP, while its community Workshop lets players discover and share custom Dub Mods. Finished dubs can also be exported as landscape or vertical videos for sharing. The game runs directly in a browser with no download required.

Gameplay Guide for Voxalike

The basic loop feels closer to performing a scene than playing a traditional party game. Timing, delivery, improvisation, and working with the other voices are what make a run memorable.

Pick, Dub, Score, and Replay

Begin by choosing Single Player or Multiplayer. If your library is empty, install a Dub Mod through the Workshop or import a compatible local pack. Multiplayer rooms add another decision: Co-op or PvP.

During a run, Voxalike breaks the selected scene into individual lines. Watch the clip, hear the original dialogue, then use your microphone to record your version before the timer expires. Continue until all lines have been completed; afterward, the game presents your score and lets you replay the newly dubbed scene or save the result.

That final replay is an important part of the loop. A community player specifically highlighted improvising lines with remote friends and then watching the completed scene together as the funniest part of multiplayer.

Workshop and Dub Mods

Voxalike's Workshop gives the game much more variety than a fixed scene list. At the time checked, the official Workshop displayed hundreds of community packs, with listings showing information such as roles, creators, ratings, downloads, and previews. Packs can contain scene video, character dialogue, captions, timestamps, cover artwork, and other material needed to construct the dubbing sequence.

Players can also create and share their own Dub Mods. That makes Voxalike partly a creative platform: playing community scenes is one side of it, while building new dubbing material for other players is the other.

Game Controls

  • Mouse / Trackpad – Navigate menus, choose modes, select Dub Packs, and interact with recording controls.
  • Microphone – Record dialogue during each character line.
  • Recording controls – Record, replay, and re-record takes when available.

Voice Dubbing and Multiplayer Tips

  • Check your microphone first for clearer recordings.
  • Listen to the original line before recording your replacement.
  • Watch the timer so dialogue fits within the scene.
  • Choose Dub Mods that match your group size when playing multiplayer.
  • Have fun with improvisation instead of focusing only on the score.

Give Voxalike a microphone and a familiar scene, then see what happens once the original script stops being sacred.
