You play as Nigel Burke, an untrained and overly confident “surgeon” tasked with keeping Bob alive through a series of increasingly absurd operations. The objective sounds straightforward: replace a failing organ but the execution quickly spirals into a medical nightmare.

Unlike traditional medical simulators, Sorry Bob doesn’t reward steady hands. It actively punishes them.

How to Play Sorry Bob

Sorry Bob is played from a first-person perspective, but there’s a catch: you only control one floating hand. Each operation assigns a clear objective, such as replacing a damaged organ. Meanwhile, time ticks down and blood steadily drains, raising the pressure.

To succeed, you must:

• Read the objective and identify the correct replacement organ
• Break open the chest carefully using heavy tools
• Remove damaged organs without causing excessive bleeding
• Insert the correct replacement before blood loss reaches zero

Unique Finger-Based Controls

Sorry Bob’s most iconic feature is its finger-based control system:

• A - Pinky finger
• W - Ring finger
• E - Middle finger
• R - Index finger
• Spacebar - Thumb
• Mouse Move - Position the hand
• Left Click - Lower hand to grab
• Right Click (Hold) - Rotate wrist

Instead of standard grab-and-use mechanics, you must coordinate individual fingers. It feels unnatural and that’s exactly the point.
