Gameplay Basics

After customizing your character and vehicle, you'll enter a city overrun by zombies. Your first objective is to meet the Mission Guy, who introduces the campaign and teaches you the basics.

As you explore, you'll discover abandoned vehicles, cargo crates, cash pickups, subway stations, and new missions scattered throughout the city. Completing campaign objectives unlocks larger rewards, while daily missions provide a steady source of cash for buying weapons, accessories, and upgrades.

Combat is flexible. You can defeat zombies with melee weapons, firearms, or grenades, then use your earnings to purchase better equipment. If you'd rather relax, the game even lets you disable zombies entirely and enjoy the city as a driving sandbox.
