What Is Seeing Things?

Seeing Things is a camera-based anomaly detection horror game where survival depends on how well you can spot changes in monitored rooms. Objects shift, figures emerge, reality bends, and there are situations where the weirdness is so insidious that you may wonder whether you have imagined it.

Three difficulty levels are provided in the game to make it easy to learn by a new player and at the same time a butch-kick to the experienced players. More challenging tasks require quicker response and almost impeccable concentration.

The tone takes an amazing straddling line between spooky and silly, making sure that the tension is never overwhelming, and the laughs do not completely spoil the fear.

How to Play Seeing Things

The core gameplay is simple:

  • Surveillance of several security cameras
  • Search on what is strange, out of place, and impossible
  • Identify anomalies before they escalate
  • Stay alert long enough to survive the shift

Anomalies can be obvious or painfully subtle. A missing object, a new shadow, a suspicious movement or something completely ridiculous- can all signal danger. Miss too many, and things start to spiral quickly.

Controls Guide

Seeing Things keeps the controls simple so all your attention stays on observation:

  • Arrow Keys - Switch between security camera views
  • On-Screen Arrows - Click to change camera angles

Difficulty Levels

Seeing Things is highly replayable with more than 500 anomalies and various difficulty settings. You will still be surprised by new things, different jokes, and really creepy moments that you have never witnessed before even after a few sessions.

Every difficulty increases the margin of error, and the players who are able to remain calm, focused and decisive when the difficulty increases are rewarded.

What Players Are Saying About Seeing Things?

  • “Really fun. It’s got an ideal mix of silly and spooky.” - Stumpt
